Night hike - along the old paved road to Olympic Hot Springs- roughly Backpack-- Level of difficulty: Easy Distance: 2.5 miles to hot springs Elevation change: 200 feet elevation gain Saturday is a day hike to Boulder Lake-- Level of difficulty: Moderate Distance: 3.3 miles to the lake Elevation change: 1900 ft. to 4350 ft.

Ottrrrs: On the 18th of October 2008 we are doing Jamboree On The Air. This is a national Boy Scout event. We will be contacting and talking to Boy Scouts around the world. We will meet at the American Legion Hall in Breidalbilk at 8:30 am, and we should be finished by 4:00 pm. You will need to bring a sack lunch. While participating in the Jamboree, we will be working on the Radio Merit Badge. Please review the Radio Merit Badge requirements beforehand, and be ready to help setup and participate! The merit badge book is not required. Mr. Zantek and Mr.Dubay will be the adult mentors for the outing.

Climb to Boulder Lake from Boulder creek campground (Olympic Hot Springs) - 5 mile round trip with 2300' elevation gain - depends on the weather (there was snow at the lake last year)
