Wilderness First Aid- Day 1  
Camp Yeomalt Bainbridge Island
The American Red Cross is offering a training course for Wilderness First Aid certification. The training is a two-day course led by two experience Red Cross trainers. Full attendance on both days is required to complete the certification. The training combines indoor class room training and activities with outdoor exercises at the location. The course can accommodate 10 – 20 participants and runs each day from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. For this session the training will be done at Camp Yeomalt (formerly Boy Scout Camp Hopkins) on Bainbridge Island. There are two pre-requisites that each attendee must complete and have current certification prior to taking the class. You must have a current Adult CPR certification (CPR Card) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certification from the American Red Cross or equivalent certifying organization. The fee for the course is $120 per person. To register, please contact the American Red Cross office in Bremerton and speak with Kelly, Amie or Shelley. You need not be registered with Boy Scouts of America to attend. Payment must accompany registration. No payments can be accepted the day of the event or at the training site. Training priority is based on “first come first served” based on completed registration and payment. American Red Cross supplies all of the materials for the training (suggest you bring a pen and notepad). It is recommended that you bring a sack lunch and your own beverages. There won’t be sufficient time for lunch off-site. It is recommended that you dress for both indoor and outdoor activities.
