4/21/2024 5:45 AM to 7:00 PM Olympic National Forest Joint day trip with Crew 1548 Day hike to the Camp Muir climber's camp on Mount Rainier. Approximately 8 mile round trip entirely on snow with 4800 feet of elevation gain and loss. Participants are required to have prior mountaineering experience. At a minimum, they should have completed mountaineering training and climbed Mount Ellinor with the troop. At least one other prior substantial climb is encouraged (such as Mount Fricaba, Klahhane Ridge, Mount Adams, or Hawk Peak).
