Muir Run
5:45 AM to 8:00 PM
Mount Rainier Nat'l Park
A "Muir Run" is a dayhike (not a run) up to Camp Muir, the main climber's camp for Mount Rainier at an elevation of slightly over 10,000 feet. This is a very challenging trip with over 4600 feet of elevation gain (8.5 mile round trip), almost entirely on snow. Participants MUST have completed mountaineering training and at least one significant prior climb on snow with the troop. This is a joint trip with Venture Crew 1548.
