Mount Whitney  
Mt Whitney
Joint trip with Venture Crew 1548. We will travel to California to climb Mount Whitney, the highest mountain in the contiguous 48 states at 14,505 feet elevation. This will be a very strenuous trip. Scouts should have significant previous experience backpacking and/or mountaineering, such as Philmont, Mount Adams, or The Brothers. All participants must be approved by Mr. Gill (the troop mountaineering coordinator). Estimated cost for the trip will be $400-500. If you have questions, please contact Mr. Gill at bgill@spu.edu.
FOS Breakfast setup and Color Guard Rehearsal  
4:30 PM to 7:00 PM
Kitsap Golf and Country Club
Meet at the VFW Hall for equipment loadout. Display will consist of items to show Scouting in the outdoors (i.e., canoes, tent, camp site, archway, etc). Will also conduct Color Guard rehearsal while at Kitsap Golf and Country Club.
