Joint trip with Venture Crew 1548. We will travel to California to climb Mount Whitney, the highest mountain in the contiguous 48 states at 14,505 feet elevation. This will be a very strenuous trip. Scouts should have significant previous experience backpacking and/or mountaineering, such as Philmont, Mount Adams, or The Brothers.
