Troop 1539, Kitsap District, Chief Seattle Council was founded in 1972. We are chartered by Veterans of Foreign Wars, Henry Bryner Post 4992. We are a very active troop of 42 scouts, of which 1 is Eagle Rank, who meet on Mondays at 7:00 PM in the basement of the VFW hall at 9981 Central Valley Road. This site currently hosts 258,281 pictures from our troop's outings, with even more hiqh quality copies on our associated SmugMug site (troop1539.smugmug.com). The average age of our scouts is 15 years, 2 months, and they have collectively earned 166 Merit Badges in the past year. We are very big on the outdoor program, having completed 23 camp outs totaling 56 nights of camping in the past year alone! We feel it is important to give back to our community, towards which we have completed 657 hours of service this past year. Our current scoutmaster is (360) 698-7604 and committee chair is .
