The BSA Boardsailing award has been developed to introduce Scouts to basic boardsailing skills, equipment, and safety precautions; to encourage the development of skills that promote fitness and safe aquatic recreation; and to lay a skill and knowledge foundation for those who will later participate in more advanced and demanding activities on the water. Boardsailing BSA is well suited as a program feature for older Scouts at summer camp.
The aquarist program teaches Scouts small and large scale aquarium management. Scouts will monitor their own tanks as well as learn how the system in the center operates. Scouts will receive an education about what it takes to be a professional aquarist. Only offered at Emerald Bay!
The Den Chief Service Award is awarded to a Boy Scout who has served as a Den Chief and completed the requirements. Den Chiefs who earn the award may wear the Service Award in addition to the standard den chief cord of their office, and may continue to wear it for as long as they are a youth Scout.
The 50 miler is the quintessential scouting adventure- it recognizes those trips that challenge scouts more, and is something that every scout should accomplish at least once in his scouting career.

Orca District offers the 'Orca District Outdoor Adventure Award' - which can be earned by a scout who has Completed 50 nights of camping Completed one of the following: At least 150 miles of hiking and backpacking At least 150 miles of canoe/kayaking At least 300 miles of cycling An additional 25 nights of camping
To encourage proper use of woods tools, training others in Totin’ Chip skills, and creating a simple outdoor project using acquired woods tool skills.

The World Conservation Award provides an opportunity for individual Boy Scouts to "think globally" and "act locally" to preserve and improve our environment. This program is designed to make youth members aware that all nations are closely related through natural resources and that we are interdependent with our world environment.
Available to registered Scouters who render service of an outstanding nature at the district level.

The Silver Beaver Award is the council-level distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America. Recipients of this award are registered adult leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the council. The Silver Beaver is an award given to those who implement the Scouting program and perform community service through hard work, self-sacrifice, dedication, and many years of service. It is given to those who do not actively seek it.

The National Honor Patrol Award is given to patrols whose members make an extra effort to have the best patrol possible. Your patrol can earn the award by doing the following over a period of three months.
